Monica Abbott
Monica Abbott is starting to become more well known, but not quite as famous as Jennie Finch. She is one of my many pitching inspirations, and I even got to work with her during a camp that I went to! She's a left-handed pitcher, so she has an even more unique pitch than others. She is 6'3". She inspires me to do my best and to keep pitching, even after I've had an off game.
Jennie Finch
Jennie Finch will probably be the most famous fastpitch softball player that you will know. If you search "famous softball players, or pitchers" she will more that likely be on the top 5 links at least. She's played in the olympics 2 years, and gotten medals both years. She's done pitching professionally now, but she still does clinics and now has a commercial for a yogurt company. Again she is another one of my pitching inspirations, and pushes me to be my best. Jennie Finch is a whole 6 feet even.
Tarryne Mowatt
Tarryne Mowatt was a promising athlete from the begining. She started playing tee-ball at age 4, and then at 8 she started pitching while being coached by her dad. She has pitched all over, and gone to different states and what not to pitch. She now coaches at California Baptist University.. and she's an assistant coach at the moment.
Ashley Holcombe
Chelsea Evanoff
Missed part of her senior year, due to an injury on her forearm. Almost everybody expected her to sit and not be able to play. She proved everybody wrong her freshman year and ended up being one of the teams top pitchers. She is 5'6" and from Tucson, Arizona. She's one of my many softball pitching inspirations, considering she overcame injury to become one of the best pitchers in the league at that time.
